Responsibilities
Canvas Management:
- Maintain and update course content on Canvas platform according to provided guidelines.
- Collaborate with manager to ensure effective utilization of Canvas features for course delivery.
Administrative Support:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for team members.
- Handle email correspondence and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Assist in preparing documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison for the MD and the team.
- Communicate updates, announcements, and deadlines to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the MD’s schedule and itinery.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content creators to enhance the online learning experience on Canvas.
Technical Assistance:
- Provide guidance and training to instructors and students on how to effectively navigate and utilize Canvas features.
- Stay updated on Canvas updates, new features, and best practices to optimize platform usage.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to other software tools and platforms used within the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Canvas .
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote work environment.
- Tech-savvy with a keen interest in learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
