We are looking to scale our technical content efforts by bringing on board an experienced technical writer who can manage our end-to-end content production pipeline from idea to CMS. If you have a mixture of software development, writing, SEO and design experience this job will be a perfect match for your skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and prepare technical blog article briefs for external authors and technical writers.
- Proofread, fact-check, edit and rewrite externally written articles to ensure they meet the highest level of English and quality standards.
- Write, understand, and test short code samples for, and written by technical authors.
Qualification
- Fluent, native English speaking with exceptional writing skills.
- You will either come from a software engineering background and have exceptional English writing skills. Or you will come from a writing background and know how to read, write, and understand basic code samples and demos.
- SEO research and tools, good taste, an eye for design and basic image editing a bonus.
- 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role.
This is a flexible full or part time role depending on circumstances and experience, working remote worldwide or in Sydney, Australia.
