Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Installer/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems to ensure the security and safety of our clients’ premises. The CCTV Installer/Technician will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality CCTV solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems in accordance with project specifications.
- Mount and secure cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and other related equipment.
- Ensure proper routing and organization of cables for a clean and professional installation.
- Conduct thorough testing of CCTV systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cameras, recording devices, and network connectivity.
- Provide timely and effective solutions for identified problems.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Update firmware and software as needed to address security vulnerabilities and enhance system capabilities.
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations.
- Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Create detailed documentation for clients outlining system specifications and operating instructions
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in CCTV installation and maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CCTV Installer/Technician.
- Familiarity with a variety of CCTV systems, cameras, and accessories.
- Proficient in the installation and configuration of CCTV systems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts related to CCTV installations.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
Salary Range: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000/month
